Students who have not pre-registered for next school year need to see their counselor ASAP.

Students who are interested in a summer camp in Weaverville, NC can pick up information in the Guidance Office.  High schoolers with a current military ID will only pay $99 for a great week of camp.

Rank for Seniors is available in the Guidance Office!

The Central Texas York Rite Educational Foundation scholarship is open to all seniors.  Pick up an application in the Guidance Office.

A representative from Texas A&M University will be here on May 13th for a presentation.  Juniors in the upper half of their class may sign up to attend.

NAVY

Students who are planning a career in the NAVY can pick up information in the Guidance Office.

Seniors who will be attending CTC in the fall may apply for scholarships online by going to http://www.ctcd.edu/student/prospective.htm and click on the quick links: scholarship search.  The deadline to apply is March 31st.

Seniors who will be attending Texas State Technical College, McLennan Community College, Hill College or the University of Mary Hardin Baylor may apply for this scholarship.

Seniors may apply for the Killeen ISD Scholarships: Maude Moore Wood, Parrie Haynes, Junior Cross, and Franklin and Emily E. Pratt.  The scholarship forms are available in the Guidance Office.

Seniors, the deadline for this scholarship has been extended to Friday, March 14th.  Seniors who are successfully completing at least three credits in two or more courses of career and technical education may apply.

The Delta Kappa Gamma is offering a scholarship to a senior young lady who is interested in becoming an educator.

The Military Child Education Coalition is planning to print a publication about teenagers’ experiences during the deployment of a loved one.  The publication will be by teens for teens.  All who have weathered the deployment(s) of parents, siblings and other loved ones are encouraged to fill out the questionnaire located in the Guidance Office or Student Activities.  We would be happy to fax or mail your information for you.

This scholarship is for seniors who are not in the top 10% of their class.

Seniors who are planning to attend the University of Great Falls can pick up information on a scholarship.

Seniors may apply for The Kitty and Sonny Pope Memorial Scholarship.

Seniors who reside in Bell County may apply

Seniors please note that the Killeen Association for School Nutrition Scholarship application neglected to ask for a picture.  They would like you to please attach one to their application.

The Bell County Medical Society & Medical Alliance of Bell County annually awards scholarships to seniors who are pursuing a degree in a medically-related field.

Seniors who plan to pursue a career as a physician, registered nurse, or a licensed vocational nurse in a pediatric field may apply for this scholarship.

Seniors who are planning to attend Prairie View A&M and major in the Department of Languages and Communications can apply for a renewable $3000 scholarship.

Scholarship Deadlines

The Texas Telephone Association Scholarship application needs to be turned in to the Guidance Office by March 3rd.  Two students will be selected to represent Ellison High School.

The Robert C. Byrd Scholarship application must be turned in to the Guidance Office by March 3rd.  Three applications will be submitted to represent Ellison High School.

Seniors must submit an original editorial type essay.

In order for seniors to qualify for this scholarship they must be a member of FFA or 4H Club.

Seniors who are planning to be a Doctor, Nurse, Physical Therapist, Lab Tech, etc. may apply for this scholarship.

Any student who is in the 11th grade is eligible for the Princeton University Poetry Prize.  For more information, please contact the Guidance Office.

This scholarship is for seniors who are pursuing a degree in Bilingual Education.

Seniors who reside in Bell County and will be attending a college or trade school in Texas & have a 3.0 GPA or better may apply for this scholarship.
